Description of works
The Inner Northern Busway (INB) is the second busway in the network to be built. The INB will be a 4.7 kilometer dedicated roadway for use by buses and emergency vehicles.
Section 5 runs through Victoria Park Golf course and includes approximately 1/2km of cut and cover tunnels. EPTEC supplied and installed 10,000 square metres of 2mm flat HDPE sheet as waterproof membrane to the tunnels. HDPE sheet membrane was terminated to HDPE channel by extrusion welding. Bonded bitumen/polyethylene membrane was applied to pre cast concrete joints.
All road work was undertaken by EPTEC's rope access trained installers to conform with workcover requirements.
