The project presented difficulties in the large size of openings, tidal movements and various shaped penetrations. A combination of materials including flexible underwater applied epoxies and specialy formulated polyurethane were used to complete the works. All of the waterproofing work on this project was completed below water
level. This presented additional difficulty in the engineered selection
and application of materials. |
