Description of works
Sewer
rehabilitation was completed in four catchments for Sydney Water. The works
included inspection of mainlines and house service lines to identify required
rehabilitation works. The location and nature of the works required extensive
communication with residents in accordance with Sydney Water protocols.
The seaside location of the work presented its own unique difficulties
for access and repair methods. Deep manholes and highly permeable soils
required special planning and rehabilitation techniques.
