Description of works
Eptec was awarded a contract to make the Naval Base more efficient in the management of stormwater in accordance with environmental requirements. The strategy included the construction of a reinforced concrete retention tank, excavation and pipe laying, installation of rainwater tanks and water restriction devices across the Base including the installation of water restriction toilets fitting to 200 toilets / bathrooms.
Other integral aspects of the project included the reconditioning of Wilson Field, laying of asphalt road / car park, traffic control management, internal / external waterproofing as well as site restoration works such as returfing, landscaping and fencing.
