Description of works
Part of the Georges River upgrade program, 5 digester-covers required abrasive blast cleaning and protective coating internally and externally. Some had been previously coated with lead containing paint that required detailed lead abatement procedure to ensure absolute safe working conditions for all workers on site.
Work
included full encapsulation with surface preparation by abrasive blasting,
and coating to all internal and external surfaces with high build epoxy.
